Love letter to the buyer: Tell potential buyers your personal "story" of your home. Why did you originally purchase? What you will miss most; ie neighborhood gatherings, area benefits, and details only you can provide that make your home inviting.
Twelve years ago, my wife and I were searching for our first house together and had looked at so many, not finding what we really wanted. When this house became available, we looked at it once and knew it was the house for us. We fell in love with it as it was perfect for our family. It's the last house on the circle and off the road which offered us privacy, little traffic and a beautiful setting. It's a beautifully designed custom home that we have truly enjoyed.
The house has all the things we were looking for: A large great room with cathedral ceilings, crown molding with accent lighting and a gas fireplace. All the bedrooms are large with spacious closets. We love that the home has plenty of windows to let the light in and view the beautiful scenery. There is plenty of storage space including a huge walk-in attic off of the bonus room. The outside of the home is surrounded by wooded areas providing privacy and an outdoor adventure for the kids. We have enjoyed watching the deer and other abundant wildlife from our deck or sitting in the front yard watching the ducks in the pond across the way.
We have made a lot of wonderful memories in our home. Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners would fill the table with with food, family and friends. The large deck off of the great room provides additional entertaining space. Spending relaxing evenings in front of the fireplace will be one of our favorite memories.
Aside from the perks of our home, we are going to miss the neighborhood. Belle Acres is quiet and the neighbors are great. We are close to shopping, restaurants and the kiddie park is within walking distance. Raleigh/Durham is just a short drive down the road.
If you like to boat, fish, camp or swim like we do, Falls Lake Recreation area and Lake Holt are very close. If hiking is more your taste, there is Ledge Creek Forest Conservation Area which boast almost 400 acres of land, consisting of 5 miles of walking/hiking trails, just minutes away. Granville Athletic Park offers 80 acres of something for everyone, including walking trails, tennis courts, water spray area for the kids and many more amenities.
Retirement has come for both of us so it is time to head to where our next adventure takes us---as long as it takes us to Florida...
This has been a home filled with love and we wish you, the next owners, the same good memories.
